In the Beginning...
My pre-school years were in the late 50's and early 60's. During this time, my "Granny" kept me while Momma and Daddy worked. Granny loved to sew. I spent a large amount of time playing by her busy feet. Why do I describe my Granny's feet as busy? They were busy working the treadle sewing machine. It was the beloved "Singer Treadle".
Sewing as been second nature to me all of my life.
